The Building Exploratory, an educational charity, wanted to explore the potential for a new building close to Haggerston School. Hodgson Gabb Studio's proposal included an exhibition space and offices as well as landscape components
The entrance to the Building Exploratory's new building would be shared with the school. Lunchtime seating and a climbing wall were included in the proposal to contribute to the school grounds.
A three-dimensional diagram was developed to help the Building Exploratory understand their spatial needs and their proximity to the entrance and neighbouring school.
Hodgson Gabb Studio and Voluntary Design and Build, a small charity, developed and built a temporary proposal for the Building Exploratory in an office in Hoxton. It operated as office, exhibition and activity space.
