This listed house near Great Dunmow was the former home of the Crittall family and thus was listed to preserve its steel framed windows. Our client wanted to improved the building fabric improving the insulation and curing damp problems. The building was re-roofed with a new boiler, solar thermal collectors and re-furbished externally.
