This tiny extension to a house in Shrubland Road, Hackney, replaced a building which had been constructed by the previous occupant out of found materials. David Eland and Hodgson Gabb Studio worked with the main contractor to construct bespoke elements such as windows and seating which allowed access down skinny stairs to the garden.
